For keeping visual records of finds - digital macro photography is excellent. Using a computer gives more control over
your photos but is not essential, camera memory cards can be processed by photographic retail outlets.  Ricoh and
Nikon both produce digital cameras with good macro capabilities. Lighting of the object at close focusing distances
needs to be experimented with and camera shake can be a problem, but easily overcome. An added advantage of
increasing the magnification of an object, is that it makes identification easier than when using a glass. All the images
